In recent years here in Southern California we've had our own nuclear concerns at San Onofre, along the coast. We've shut it down though utility company wanted to reopen one reactor, but many problems yet to resolve there containing the other reactor's meltdown. I wouldn't care to live any closer than I currently do.joaredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09999395062839739698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2248452688088218010.post-54839558353111996142016-03-30T10:47:57.694-04:002016-03-30T10:47:57.694-04:00We have a nuclear power plant about ten miles from...We have a nuclear power plant about ten miles from where we live. People periodically protest to have it closed down; and honestly, it does seem a little forbidding. But if it closes down, where will we get the electricity to run our blogs? We've looked into solar cells for our roof; but so far haven't done anything.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08611148987085476580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2248452688088218010.post-78796062522799519352016-03-30T08:24:08.547-04:002016-03-30T08:24:08.547-04:00What a story...but I will focus on the mundane: W...What a story...but I will focus on the mundane: What is it about tiny little boy bodies that can so reliably plug up a toilet at the most inopportune times?Olgahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00692441479616299920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2248452688088218010.post-41683723257389883162016-03-29T16:57:56.219-04:002016-03-29T16:57:56.219-04:00Werent you scared going back there? I remember TMI but didn't think I knew anybody who lived nearby. Now I do, since I now have an electronic family! That's a pretty scary memory, Meryl. :-(DJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07152183871573797791noreply@blogger.com
